Look at those beautiful trucks lined up in front of Odorless Dry-Cleaning Company on Albany Avenue. The original business started as O’Shea’s Tampa Bachelor Pressing. In 1919, it was purchased by Charles Henry Cole, and the name was changed to Odorless Dry-Cleaning Company in1925. In 1936, R.E. Milner--who was once the treasurer for the Corporation--took over the leadership for Odorless.

This building at 104 – 106 Albany Street will go down in infamy in Tampa as it once housed the Sportatorium, home of Deep South Sports. It was the scene of Championship Wrestling from Florida matches broadcast statewide with famous names like “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, Borid “The Great” Malenko (Larry Simon), Eddie Graham, and brothers Jack and Jerry Brisco. Shows were taped here on Wednesday nights. Wrestling fans would then tune in on Saturday nights to watch the entertainment that many people thought to be more theater than wrestling. If you listen closely, you may still hear the echoes of announcer Gordon Solie with his gravelly voice and deadpan style, expressing concern that pandemonium has broken out in the ring. The property sat empty for several years until it was auctioned in 2020 for $615,000.
