While this photo is captioned LM Berry and Company Building in the Burgert ledger, the gold leaf on the door reads Peninsula Telephone Company Directory Advertising Department. Later advertisements suggest that the Berry company were telemarketers for the Yellow Pages. Later, Directories America was a named subsidiary of the LM Berry and Company, the nation’s largest telephone directory advertising firm. LM Berry and Company was active in the community and received recognition for their contributions to the Tampa United Fund (now the United Way)

In 1964, the building housed the Super-Test Oil and Gas Company offices, one of Southeast's largest independent gasoline retailers. A Carvel ice cream franchise operated a store at this location in the 1980s, followed by a land surveying company in the 1990s. In 2015, Burger Monger opened its doors here, offering high-end hamburgers made with Akaushi beef and creative toppings, and closed in the early 2020s.
